Why would you want to use a 3 way makeup mirror? The real question is: why wouldn’t you want to use a 3 way makeup mirror? Your face is three dimensional, right? Why would you want to use a mirror that makes your face seem more one dimensional? When you use a 3 way makeup mirror, your face enters the third dimension, and you can better apply your makeup.

A 3 way makeup mirror is great for applying false eyelashes, eyeliner, and other makeup. Also, you should use a 3 way makeup mirror when you are applying your foundation. Haven’t you seen women with foundation that stops short of their hairlines, making their makeup far too obvious? You most definitely do not want to be one of those women!

When you use a 3 way makeup mirror, you can check out all sides of your face, not just the front. You can make sure that you look good from all possible angles. After all, people are going to see you from all different angles – you cannot directly face everyone all the time.

You can also use large 3 way makeup mirrors to check out the back of your hair. Make sure that your cowlick is not showing, that your braid is straight, that you’ve covered a spot with thinning hair, that your hair is not flipping out too far, etc.
